Back in March, I promised to disclose what the trouble was that I was dreaming about ... So far, when I heard the voice telling me to beware the "Ides of March," I didn't really think of it again, but I knew it was some type of warning of trouble to come. Boy was I right! In the few days that followed, I was called into the office by one of my bosses who has a so-called problem with how I supposedly ignored his direct orders. I maintained that I never totally disregarded any order coming from any supervisor, even if me and the supervisor didn't get along! My whole thing was that he (the supervisor) was trying to pin something so ridiculous on me that I just had to tell him that it's not necessary to take this matter any further... Yet, he never gave it any other thought, but did JUST what I feared, and took it to the next supervisor above him... I practically begged for him not to let this go any further, and he could care less, only to just ridicule me, and practially spit in my face, since he felt as though I wasn't the model employee that never talked back and such! I tried to tell him that I was sorry and that still didn't work, since the boss is short-tempered and height-impaired as well, my plea fell on def ears! I can't believe that I wasted my breath apologizing for something that coulda been avoided if he had only took the time to hear me out, and not condemn me for not letting him totally dog me like he intended! Every word he said to me, I made it a point to ask him why he felt so stongly about getting me out of here, when he knew I was only doing what he asked me to do... which was to tuck-in my shirt and have a seat. When my pants fell a little bit above my knee, he ran over to me yelling, and making a scene saying that he's gonna get me out of here and blah, blah, blah... still yelling and screaming at this point, and I actually start ignoring the yells and start talking plainly to him in my regular tone of voice. He's MORE than PISSED now! As we make our way to the other supervisor's office, he yells and screams more, and more as the head supervisor sits thaere and lets him have his way! I'm shocked and hurt that as long as I been here on the job, I've never had this, or anything like this to happen to me. He had the nerve to keep hollering and keep walking up to me like I was gonna back down, especially when I knew I was right! I never meant to cause any harm or disrespect to anyone, but now as I sit here, I'm not so sure anymore! He deserves any and all punishment that anyone throws at him and more! Since that day, there's one more incident that I'll disclose to y'all that lands me out of this job, and into a new one, AND it's because of this HOT-HEADED supervisor that this happens ...
Later Folks,
P.S. What I forgot to mention is that the day I got into this hot water, something kept nudging me to call-in sick for the day ... All that morning, I kept getting feeling the need to call-in! I guess this is what happens when we don't listen to the voice that's trying to warn you of danger or trouble!
